Machine Description
The F1410 LF MT2 combines precision linear guide technology with robust German engineering to provide exceptional machining accuracy and smooth axis movement. The increased Y-axis travel of 200 mm offers greater machining flexibility compared to conventional compact milling machines.
Its versatile design makes the machine suitable for both milling and drilling operations, while the precision quill and drilling depth stop provide excellent control during machining processes.
Machine Construction
Linear Guides
The F1410 LF features hardened and ground linear guideways on all axes with precision ball guide systems. These maintenance-free guides provide outstanding rigidity, smooth movement and exceptionally high positioning accuracy.
Four protective folding bellows help protect the guide systems from contamination and machining debris, ensuring long-term reliability.
Feed Screws
Trapezoidal thread spindles are fitted as standard on all axes and feature adjustable bronze double nuts for accurate positioning and long service life.
Optional ball screws are available for applications requiring even higher positioning accuracy, reduced wear and backlash-free operation.
A counterbalance system on the Z-axis further improves movement quality and machining precision.
Cast Iron Construction
The Z-column and machine base are manufactured from ribbed grey cast iron, providing excellent vibration damping, rigidity and machining stability.
Milling Head
The milling head can be swivelled through 90° in either direction, allowing machining angles from -90° to +90°.

Quill & Spindle System
The machine features a precision drilling and milling quill with a 55 mm stroke and integrated drilling depth stop.

The integrated tool clamping and ejection system allows quick and efficient tool changes without additional equipment.
