The WABECO D4000 H30 is a precision German-engineered lead screw lathe designed for machining steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics. Featuring a rigid prismatic cast iron bed, a precision spindle system and a powerful 1.4 kW variable speed motor, this compact machine delivers exceptional accuracy, reliability and machining performance for workshops, education, model engineering and precision manufacturing applications.
The WABECO D4000 H30 combines robust cast iron construction with precision engineering to provide outstanding turning performance and long-term accuracy. The rigid cast iron bed and hardened guideways ensure excellent stability, vibration damping and consistent results across a wide range of turning operations.
The D4000 H30 features a heavy-duty prismatic bed manufactured from diagonally ribbed grey cast iron. The guideways are inductively hardened and precision ground to ensure maximum rigidity, wear resistance and machining accuracy.
The machine is equipped with trapezoidal thread spindles and a precision lead screw drive system for accurate feed control and thread cutting operations.
Optional change gears enable the production of metric threads from 0.25 mm to 7.0 mm pitch and imperial threads from 10 to 40 TPI.
The cast iron headstock incorporates a hand-scraped V-guide system and two adjustable precision DIN tapered roller bearings for excellent spindle stability and turning accuracy.
The innovative belt drive system provides smooth power transmission and exceptionally quiet operation.
The precision tool slide system features adjustable dovetail guideways with backlash-free adjustment and finely graduated handwheels for accurate machining control.
The tailstock provides rapid positioning and precision adjustment for supporting longer workpieces and drilling operations.
This demonstration machine is approximately four weeks old and has been geometrically inspected and supplied with a test report. As demonstration machines are individual items, availability is subject to prior sale.
