DNC

The DNC Interface provides remote control of EMCO WinNC software using a software protocol. It connects a higher-level computer, such as a production control computer, FMS computer or DNC host, to the control computer of a CNC machine.

Once DNC operation is activated, the DNC master computer controls the CNC machine as a client. Programs, machine functions, peripheral equipment and production data can then be managed remotely, with the current machine status displayed on the DNC computer.
