Fanuc Series 31i

The Fanuc Series 31i is part of the interchangeable EMCO WinNC control system. It allows users to learn and practise common industrial CNC controls on an EMCO Concept machine or at a programmer’s workstation.

The software closely replicates the operation and functionality of the original Fanuc control. Comprehensive machining cycles simplify NC program creation, while Manual Guide i supports clear, step-by-step programming.

Workpiece program data transfer

  • Imports and exports workpiece program files containing main programs, subprograms and associated tool data
  • Supports workpiece data, R parameters and zero offsets

Contour processor with graphic simulation

  • Graphically displays the programmed workpiece contour during program creation

Manual Guide editor

  • Integrated editor with supporting cycles and visual guidance for easier operation and programming

Preliminary block run

  • Allows completed NC code blocks to be skipped

Intermediate memory storage

  • Allows stored data to be reused during the programming process

Dry run

  • Helps identify and correct programming errors and potential collisions before machining begins

Automatic measurement of position offsets

  • Measured position offsets are transferred when touching the workpiece

Automatic tool measurement

  • Tool offsets are determined by touching the reference workpiece

Diagnostics

  • Displays alarms, signals, software versions and customer information

Context-sensitive help

  • Opens the relevant manual page on screen when the help button is pressed

Licences

Homeschooling licence

  • Extension of the multiple licence for distance learning
  • Allows any number of students to install the programming software off-site

Multiple licence

  • Designed for the external programming of CNC-controlled machine tools
  • Can be installed on an unlimited number of PC workstations or across a network within the registered institution
