It’s been an exciting time this April as we celebrate our colleague, Mike Worner’s, 40 years of service with Emco.
Mike, Emco Industrial Director, first joined Emco in April 1979 when it was just a small family business with just over 100 employees. Emco’s business has grown dramatically, especially over the last 15 years and Mike is now 1 of around 850 employees.
There have been a lot of changes throughout the company over the last 40 years and we are very lucky to have had Mike on this journey with us.
A special commemorative presentation took place at the main Emcomanufacturing plant, Hallien, Salzburg in Austria. Thomas Brueggl presented Mike with an award for his long service.
Mike commented
“I have seen a huge change in the UK market and Emco’s product range over the last 40 years. The main reason I have stayed with the company, is my belief in the quality and design of their machines. I have also really enjoyed fantastic relationships with my many colleagues at the factory, many of which go back over 30 years. I have very much enjoyed visiting the main factory which is located just outside Salzburg. It is a great place to visit at any time of the year.”
